If you are like most Americans, lets face it you get bored easily and we all crave a fun, intuitive way to have fun passing the time. whether it be in the long at the DMV, at the Bank, in a boring Lecture or if you’re like me, in a board meeting, Hero Pop proves itself to be one of the best games in a long time to offer mindless and addictive fun. Further, if you have kids, this is definitely one of those all purpose games that will keep you entertained when u need to be and keep the kids occupied when you need them out of your hair. Candy crush Who?
The game at start up is filled with bright, exciting and captivating colors; since colors have a lot to with our emotions, i would go far as to say, that in conjunction with the relaxing background music the colors will give you a sense of calm and peace at the end of a stressful day. What is also interesting yet, comforting is that the game is easy enough of for your kids to love, keeping them occupied for hours , but it isn’t too easy to the extent where it will bore you ever so quickly.
The game and level design was well done and solid. The design of the game was clearly done by someone with industry experience and knew exactly what he was doing. The game is both engaging and intuitive, one of the stand out features is the giggling of the baby in the balloon as he/she floats down with the umbrella to safety (kids go crazy for this feature). Again the animation in the game was well throughout and well put together, the pirate ship that dispenses the balloons that you are to pop, has its own unique range of movement and animated directive based on its place in the story line. When a level is completed the Pirates are blown away by the wind as they defeated by in your efforts, on the other hand, where a level is failed the pirates in the ship celebrate their victory against your little “heroes” (as they are referred to in the game).
The Game is extremely enjoyable and as was stated before it is neither to easy to bore you nor is it too difficult to frustrate you. The designers and codes of the game seemed have successful strike a balance here to allow for the game to not only retain its enjoy ability and ease of use but ensured that the player couldn’t help but to come back for more.
All in all, Hero Pop proves itself to be a fun, intuitive and extremely addictive yet relaxing game. The most admirable features being excellence and what appears to be mastery in the area of game design, a well put together appearance and perfect selection of background music. What is clear here is that the makers of Hero Pop may have found themselves a hit here; it could easily be regarded as the next big thing.
