File Expert with Clouds is a very powerful file manager that also includes WiFi file transfer and app management in one convenient and intuitively simple package. All Cloud file handling activities between devices or between devices and Clouds are managed within a few simple and well organized tabs.
Downloading and installation of the app was performed on a Samsung Galaxy S3 in less than 30 seconds and the bright yellow icon background was immediately recognizable. As soon as the app ran, a preview of recently added photos were already shown on the default “Home” tab. Getting right to work, at the bottom of the Home screen was a heading titled “Large file analysis” with the explanation “Figure out which files take up your phone memory” and an “Analyze” button. Of course one must proceed with this nice clean-up feature which is a simple and clean collective view of the data on your device. Back to the Home tab and on to the “Categories” tab, the succinct one-stop list of file categories makes file structures look far less intimidating and compacts the important aspects into one easily readable location. Under the “Clouds” tab were links to the already installed GCloud while Dropbox, Google Drive, and OneDrive links for installation were ready for interaction. The “Tools” tab held several intriguing Common and Network tools such as Safebox and Memory Manager for added security or an FTP and SMB Client as well as the Web PC Suite, all available providing an array of file transfer ease and assistance.
With 5 stars and 5 million downloads the app has gained a significant audience and stylish simplicity is a key feature. The app is free and in a world of Cloud computing that still intimidates many, File Expert with Clouds can make anyone an expert in Cloud file handling.
