ROMANS FROM MARS – DEFENDING THE GROUND

Aliens have always been a subject of debate. Not only their existence but also their nature and behaviour towards us pose many questions to our human minds that can only be answered after the event happens actually. But I don’t know why we have always considered them bad evil guys who’ll destroy our planet and want to rule what’s left behind. At least, that’s what our films speak and that’s the only field where we have made some progress in the field of aliens and UFOs. But even if it’s true, is it true for all the planets in our solar system and the rest of the Universe? Are there good aliens as well as bad aliens? Well, I don’t know the answer but I know one thing and that is if we design a game based on these principles, it’ll surely attract more eyes than those aliens themselves.

I am talking about the Android app called Romans From Mars that has been developed by Sidekick Ltd. The app is compatible with all the devices running Android 2.3.3 or any later version of the OS.

Romans From Mars is a fun-loving game where you’re defending your planet Earth against an army of Mars called Martians. You’re a soldier of Roman army and you’re hiding behind a wall with a crossbow in your hand. But someone somewhere knew that you can’t fight them with just a crossbow and to tackle those tough situations, Jupiter has rewarded you with special powers of Fire, Earth, Ice and Lightning. The enemies will be coming in waves from all sides and you have to shoot them all before they can reach your wall. But once they reach it, your throat would be just inches away from their hands to be cut and left to bleed. So make sure not even a single one survives that long. The powers such as lightning will help you kill them all at once while Ice will freeze them all for a moment so that you can take a perfect shot at them.

The graphics of the game are amazing and the cartoon themed enemies will help you feel some humour amidst the tense situations. There are 10 different kinds of such enemy aliens. The visuals are crisp and sharp and the vibrant colours really add to some treat. Apart from that, the gameplay is challenging, fast and addictive. You can’t afford too many missed shots or soon you’ll see the horrifying results. Moreover as the game proceeds, it becomes more and more unpredictable. But to your rescue, there are many upgrades you can buy from the store in exchange of the stars you’ve earned. These upgrades will not only increase your wall strength but also increase your arrow’s speed and explosion radius. So it certainly gives you an extra hand in defending the world. Moreover, there are 30 achievements to unlock.

So overall, this is a fun game that’s very well built and delivers hours of fun and entertainment. The app is available for free in the Play Store.
